Decisions...

So..this past week has been fall break and its been very interesting. I spent the first part at Green River with my boyfriend! It was a blast! I had sooo much fun! While i was down there my mom called me and said your going to college and i was like what? she screamed and said you've been accepted! I got my acceptance letters to Lindsey Wilson and Campbellsville. Well, Saturday I went to Campbellsville with my friend Courtney and I LOVE IT!!! I've made my decision. In the fall I will be attending Campbellsville University! I'm soo exicted! I didnt think making the decision would be this easy but being at Campbellsville just felt right. The campus is beautiful, and the people i met were amazing, not to mention the food is good. haha. anyways, i'm really excited and Courtney will be attending in the fall too, we hope to be roomates! I'm really ready for this part of my life to begin! Woo!!

Senior year..

well, this is my senior year of highschool and honestly its been extremely boring! It doesnt really seem like im a senior. I'm sure as the year goes along those OMG this is it moments will begin to come, and I will freak at the thought of college and being on my own. But, at the moment i'm just takin it day by day and tryin to pass trig. haha. College is another big worry, I got all the stuff together for my Berea application which is alot really, 2 teacher recommendations, a counseler recommendation, a transcript, essay, and the actually application itself. My application for Lindsey Wilson and transcript have been sent in, now all thats left is to mail my Campbelsville app and wait. Thats what i hate, waiting, waiting around for these people to determine your fate. I really want to go to Campbelsville, but Berea's good too. LWC is really just a back up.
The only thing that really makes me feel like this is senior year is the college apps. Other then that its just the same ol classes with the same ol teachers. My absolute favorite class though is Principles of Teaching! Its great! were really gettin an inside look of what being a teacher really is, and honestly I love it! I think i've finally decided that teaching is what i want to do. I'm really excited for this year to end and to start the next chapter in my life, and make something of myself. which is what im deteremined to do. Prove everyone wrong and show people that i can and will make a difference in this world, even if it is a small one.

A little about me..

So, i've never done the whole blog thing before, but i decided to give it a shot.
This blog will basically be about me and the struggles and triumphs of my everyday life. I guess i should start by telling you a little about me. I am 17, Senior in highschool, and takin life day by day. Learning alot, and figuring out that things i thought would never change are, and will continue to as i grow up. Things will change, people will change, and the ones you thought would never leave your side will slowly but surely begin to drift away. But, there comes a poin when you have to realize its all part of growing up.
Anyways, back to me. I have a little sister, Liz, and older sister, Meredith, I live with my mom and my 2 little cousins. They are 2&4 which makes for an interesting living situation sometimes, haha. I'm basically your average teenager, can't wait to grow up and get outta this town. I'm excellent with advice, and very good at listening. This blog will kind of be like my place to vent, and I want everyone to feel free to comment, ask questions, or even talk about your problems. I'll be there to help in any and every way I can!
